Thank you to all our volunteers for everything you have done this past year with your commitment to the foodbank. As always, it has been a busy year with lots going on.
Also thank you to our community for your generosity in donating food to support Bath, Keynsham & Somer Valley Foodbank during 2025. Your help makes a big difference to people’s lives, supporting families, couples and individuals facing crisis in our community by providing them with a 3-day emergency food parcel.
Back in June 2025, the Bath, Keynsham and Somer Valley Foodbanks merged and became Bath, Keynsham and Somer Valley Foodbank. Together the foodbanks provided:
- 4893 food parcels distributed, providing food for 9258 people, including 2905 children
- 145 food parcels delivered to the homes of people with health and mobility difficulties
- Each month during 2025 an average of 100 households received food support for the first time
- 78,900kg’s of food distributed to people in our communities – donated by people in our communities
- Approximately 670 Foodbank sessions held across our ten foodbank centre locations
- 200 volunteers, collectively volunteering for a total of approximately 17,000 hours
- Support and advice provided by Citizens Advice and Clean Slate during foodbank sessions
- Extra support at Christmas time with toy vouchers and Christmas treats
- Winter items provided to help people manage the colder months
Thanks again for your donations, and for your ongoing and loyal support of Bath, Keynsham & Somer Valley Foodbank.
Best wishes and Happy New Year from all of us at the Foodbank and Genesis Trust, hope you have a wonderful 2026!
